Class Description
This course will provide you with information on making accurate and timely decisions regarding eligibility in the public program. We will cover specific information regarding the difference in information needed for an eligibility decision versus a plan, how to improve efficiency, how to honor the consumer in the process and how to make accurate decisions regarding priority groups if in an order of selection.

About the Presenter
Michael O'Brien, Ed.D.
Michael O'Brien, Ed.D., is Executive director of Oklahoma Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. He returned to Oklahoma in January 2009, to accept the director’s job from Las Vegas, New Mexico where he was an associate professor of rehabilitation and special education and director of the master’s degree program in rehabilitation counseling. His previous positions include Director of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for the State of Washington and past clinical affiliate professor at the University Of Washington School Of Medicine in Seattle.
