Description

This three hour course will provide participants with an overview of diabetes. Participants will review current statistics for diabetes as well as how diabetes impacts individuals, rehabilitation services and employment. Additional diagnoses as a result of or associated with diabetes will be discussed. The presenter will offer suggestions and tips for successful employment strategies that can be used by rehabilitation professionals to help these individuals move into and maintain successful employment.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration prior to the training, you may either send a substitute participant or use this payment as a credit toward a future training. If you do not cancel and do not attend the training, you will still be responsible for the fee. You must cancel 2 business days prior to the start date of the training. Cancellations are not accepted for teleclasses.

Fragrance Free Policy

A growing number of people are hypersensitive to everyday chemicals/products. Conference attendees are requested not to use strongly scented personal products during their attendance in order to facilitate access to our programs by the widest number of people. Thank you for your cooperation.

CRC Policy

You must attend all sessions in order to receive CRC credit. No partial CRC credit will be given. You must complete our brief, online evaluation to receive CRC credit. After the evaluation deadline has passed, CRC forms will be sent electronically ONLY to participants who have submitted an evaluation.
