 End Result Goals: 

1. Developing the Vision and Mission:
• The CIL will have defined their unique role of value in youth transition.

• Strategic Planning and Resource Development:
1. The CIL Staff and VR partners will have increased their knowledge of the youth transition community of practice (locally and statewide).
2. The CIL and VR will have begun a strategic planning process to be involved in youth transitioning.

                                                               i.      Needed information to get started and to implement a youth program will have been defined and identified. 

                                                             ii.      The tools and skills needed to begin and implement a youth program will have been identified.  

                                                            iii.      Program infrastructure needed to implement a youth program will be defined. 

3. Resources needed to develop and implement a youth program:

                                                               i.      Possible collaborators and other key people in the community will have been identified. 

                                                             ii.       Funding (budget) and other resources needed to implement a youth program will have been identified.  

4. The next steps for implementing the strategic plan will be defined.

Training Participants will be the CIL Staff and Vocational Rehabilitation Transition Counselors.
