Independent Living
The mission of CURRENTS is to provide human resource and organizational development interventions that lead to improved quality of life, independence and employment outcomes for people with disabilities. Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs) serving individuals with the most significant disabilities are key partners in achieving those outcomes.
CURRENTS has a long history of supporting the efforts of CILs and SILCs to plan, develop, conduct and administer Independent Living services and evaluate their effectiveness in providing those services. Please click on the links (above, below, at left, whatever) to learn more about our current projects with CILs and SILCs.
