OK Department of Rehabilitation Services
Introducing a program to build creative capacity and leadership skills to
advance the OK DRS mission of “cool jobs with benefits.”
Why? WINGS was designed to:
- Increase innovative approaches to problem solving
- Stimulate change, energy, and creativity
- Develop leadership capacity
- Develop project management skills
- Increase personal and organizational accountability and
empowerment
How? WINGS will:
- Use experiential learning in innovation, leadership and
project management
- Challenge creative thinking
- Use mentors from across the Red River
- Encourage self-examination and improvement
- Sponsor Organizational Improvement Projects
Participants will be selected based, in part, on their willingness to commit
to an 18-month curriculum with five learning sessions and year-long project
team work. Coaching, mentoring and support will be offered throughout the
