Social Security OnLine:  Social Security Administration's (SSA) "Official Web Site" for accessing information and documents related to all programs with SSA. Excellent resource site for accessing information related to all facets of the SSI and SSDI programs, eligibility criteria, SSA Work Incentives Program and information related to specific elements of the Work Incentives, Ticket to Work and the Work Incentives Improvement Act (WIIA).    This comprehensive site contains sections dedicated to Disability Information, Employment Support Programs, Medicare, Hearing and Appeals as well as the latest press releases and news concerning Social Security. The Employment Support programs section contains information on Rehabilitation Programs, Work Incentives, Plans for Achieving Self-Support (PASS) guidelines, PASS Cadre Contact information and PASS forms, Legislation, Employment Programs, Health Care for People with Disabilities, Research Initiatives and a What's New page. The SSA site also contains a comprehensive electronic document archive for downloading and/or printing the latest "Redbook' for SSA Work Incentives, SSI and SSDI documents and a plethora of other documents related to Social Security. )

WorkWorld (WW) Decision Support Software: "WorkWorld (WW) is decision support software for personal computers designed to help people with disabilities, advocates, benefit counselors, and others explore and understand how to best use the work incentives associated with the various Federal and State disability and poverty benefit programs. It automates the computation of benefits, and takes into account the complex interaction of income, benefit programs, and work incentives." Developed by the Employment Support Institute (ESI) at Virginia Commonwealth University. "The software is currently being enhanced and distributed by ESI under a contract funded by the Social Security Administration (SSA)."

Employment Support Institute (ESI):  the Employment Support Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Business is dedicated to " providing supports for better decision-making about employment options and polices affecting people with disabilities. Site contains links to the WorkWorld Web Site, information related to congressional and presidential initiatives to remove barriers to employment of people with disabilities and progress information on the WorkWorld-Personal (WWP) project.

Site includes the following:

Program on Employment and Disability (PED):  the Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations Web site that includes information and products related to their National Short-Term Disability Training Initiative on SSA Disability and Work Incentive Programs. Site also includes project information related to Disability Management, Employment and Disability Policy, Independent Living, International Disability Initiatives, Transition from School to Adult Life,Vocational Rehabilitation and Supported Employment.)

Work Incentives Transition Network (WITN):  WITN is "a collaborative 4-year project funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs. The purpose of this Network is to increase educator's, family members', transition age students', and advocates' awareness of Social Security Work Incentives for school-aged youth with disabilities." WITN promotes the use of work incentives, increased utilization of work incentives, and the employment of transition aged youth through a variety of activities.)

WorkSupport.Com: sponsored by the Virginia Commonwealth University with the mission "to identify factors that enhance or inhibit businesses from tapping into a pool of potential employees." Site contains a section on Law and Policy with commentary on the Social Security programs. Other resource sections include Disability Management, Workforce Diversity, Accommodations, Bridge to Employment, Supported Employment, Workforce Training and FAQ, Guides and Facts.

The State Partnership Systems Change Initiative (SPI): located at Virginia Commonwealth University, "designed to serve as an information outlet for highlighting the activities of the State Partnership Systems Change Initiative, as well as, a central source of information and resources on the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act, benefits assistance, Medicaid buy-in programs and employment resources." Site contains information concerning the "systems change' innovative projects in 12 states sponsored and funded by the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA).

Parent Education Network (PEN):  Web site for information related to the Social Security Administration Programs, SSI Childhood Eligibility versus Adult Eligibility, Advocacy Tips for SSI Application, SSA Work Incentives, SSI and SSDI basics, medical insurance under SSDI and additional resources.

Service Enhancements Associates:  private training and consultation business that "provides training workshops and technical assistance throughout the United States on issues and services related to employment of persons with disabilities."
